FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
WHO CAN DRIVE OUR TOMCARS?
Anyone with a valid driver's license can get behind the wheel for a thrilling Howling Monkey Adventure through the jungle. No license is necessary for laps on our Howling Monkey TOMCAR Track.
WHAT SHOULD WE BRING/WEAR?
  • Reef shoes or similar type shoes or sandals with a back and grip for hiking and navigating slippery rocks
  • Bathing suit
  • Sunscreen
  • Insect repellant
  • Camera
  • Clothing: Dress for comfort in clothing that can get dusty
  • Money for tour costs, gratuities for guides and a variety of Howling Monkey Adventures souvenirs (T-shirts, tank tops, hats, bandanas, stickers, etc.).
WHAT SHOULDN'T WE BRING/WEAR?
  • Valuables: We recommend that you leave valuables at your hotel or somewhere safe. Howling Monkey Adventures is not responsible for valuables left in your vehicle during tours.
  • White or light coloured clothing is not recommended - things will get dusty/dirty
  • Anything unnecessary: A dry bag can be provided to protect your delicate items (like cell phones and cameras), however, we encourage you to travel light.
HOW DO WE GET THERE?
We are located on the Costanera Highway beside Jaco Ropes and across from the cemetery. We offer guests an optional pick up service at Jaco area hotels.
WHAT AMENITIES ARE AVAILABLE ON-SITE?
On-Site you will have access to brand new restroom facilities including showers for convenience and use before and after tours as well as free wifi for easy posting of the day's experience on social media. We also have our awesome Howling Monkey Adventures souvenirs for purchase so you can remember your adventures!
